YARI Foundation provides a learning platform to those students from rural, slum and
tribal area to get a perfect future.
YARI Foundation started its journey in 2011 as BMC Rural Development Foundation, changed its name in 2019 and become Young And Rising INDIA Foundation.
It was founded by a small group of friends with a strong passion to change society today and build a better India for tomorrow. The organization provides youngsters a platform to serve society and bridges the gap between the educated and the uneducated.
The aim is to serve youngsters needs in a holistic manner, enabling them to live active, educated and happy lives.
YARI Foundation’s focus on what a student can do for other much need children.
The thought process behind YARI Foundation is that quality education is the only medium that can improve the living standards of poor people. It is the most powerful tool, which can equip them to make informed and intelligent choices about their lives and future.
Abbreviation of Young And Rising INDIA is YARI (which means ‘friendship’. “friendship” is a distinctively personal relationship that is grounded in a concern on the part of each friend for the welfare of the other).
YARI Foundation is a non-profit organization working for underprivileged children – orphaned, abandoned, destitute and other vulnerable groups. Our principal motive is to change the lives of such children – by providing them with long-term care. This includes basic needs, education and healthcare, and skills necessary to transform them into responsible citizens.”
